How do you take an ambitious idea and turn it into something real? How do you build the systems for an institution that wants to move across cities and eventually countries, without making it feel like a machine?

These are some of the challenges you’ll work on as Operations & Partnerships Lead at Designer Babe.

You’ll sit close to the centre of the institution, working alongside the founder to turn vision into movement. You’ll bring structure to complex projects, build relationships that open new possibilities, and create the operational infrastructure that allows good ideas to travel further.

Here’s how you’ll contribute

• Own the planning and delivery of programmes, events, partnerships, and special projects

• Turn strategic direction into clear priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and ways of working

• Build relationships with partners, collaborators, and stakeholders, and develop the proposals and documentation that move those relationships forward

• Keep projects moving across contributors, anticipate problems, and make decisions independently

• Build systems that strengthen how Designer Babe operates as it grows

About you

• You have significant experience leading operations, partnerships, programmes, events, or complex projects, ideally in a growing or creative organisation

• You’re an exceptional organiser with strong strategic thinking and judgement

• You’re comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity and making decisions without constant direction

• You can move between a partnership conversation, a budget, and an event run-of-show without losing the bigger picture

• You build trust naturally, notice what others miss, and care about making things work exceptionally well

• You’re excited to build systems, not simply operate within them
