Like every creation story, it started with a desire to make something that needed to exist.

Mitchelle Chibundu, our creator, has always believed that adding as much knowledge as possible to the ecosystem is critical to enabling people to do better.
So in 2019, when she noticed a gap in design education, she was inspired to start teaching design on social media by breaking down core design topics into easy-digestible information.
Despite our evolution over time, Designer Babe® remains dedicated to providing young people in technology with the skills they need to think outside the box and create meaningful, impactful careers.
